Birds of Jordan (BoJ) contains 250+ fascinating photos of the most common 50 wildlife birds in Jordan by Dr. Rasem Keilani, a surgeon, a keen photographer and ex-President of Jordan Photographic Society.
The birds are already organised by Folders. However, you can organise the Birds in your own Folders, tags, colours and star ratings with no limitations.
Each Bird has attributes such as Name, Folder, Info, Color Tags, Stars Rating, Tag/Icon, Wikepedia and Website URLs. You have total flexibility in how to make the app birds, and the photography, look and feel as you like.
There are 6 Bird views: List/Grid, Carousel, Cards, Gallery, Exhibition and Slideshow. Each view allows Full View with Zoom and Pan on the photos for an intimate study.
The Lounge offers relaxing and enjoyable light-hearted entertainment:
o Exhibition: review random Top 10 birds photos, with perfect photo sizes and aspect ratios, in a continuous exhibit. Absolute pleasure.
o Mosaic: enjoy colourful mosaics of 28 birds photos, and refresh for infinite possibilities. Kaleidoscopic.
o Slideshow: scroll through ALL the birds photos in a 3D portrait cards view. Mesmerizing.
o Blocks: add birds photo blocks on your screen canvas, making endless combinations. Addictive.
o Quizzes: test your knowledge with true/false questions. Nope; it’s not easy.
o Threes: which photo corresponds to the bird name? Aaah; there is a twist.
o Start with Folders
Add your own categories/folders, or use the pre-installed folders. You can attach a photo/image to the folder for a colourful presentation on the Folders list or details views. On the Folders list view, tap a folder row to show that Folder info (in Edit mode) or tap/touch the folder Birds icon to view the Folder Birds in a list or collection/grid view.
o Choose Your Tags, Colours and Stars.
For each Bird you can choose an icon Tag, Stars rating (0 to 5) and/or 3-Colour/Color sets. These options are all reflected in Queries, giving you (almost) unlimited choice of folder, tags, stars and colours to classify your favourite Birds.
o View the Birds.
On the Birds list view, tap/touch the List/Grid Photos icon to display the Birds list photos in a tabbed view (the 2nd tab displays the birds in a collection/grid view). Tap/touch a bird photo to launch the Bird Photo Zoom & Pan view, where you can pinch (outwards) or double tap to Zoom In (reverse to Zoom Out). You can also tap and hold the screen to pan (move) the photo image in any direction.
You can also tap/touch the Birds table list/view Carousel icon and view the Birds in a photos carousel fashion, with built-in zoom and pan.
o Edit the Birds.
On the Birds table/list view, tap/touch the bird row to display the Bird Edit view. Scroll up/down to see the complete list of attributes and change any desired attribute: folder, tag, rating stars, colours/colors, and so on. Please note that some attributes are not changeable by the user.
o Query the Birds.
On the Queries view, a menu of queries is presented, covering all aspects of Birds of Jordan. You can query by folder, tag, ratings stars, etc. The Query View displays headers (of the query criteria) and the detailed bird records. Tap/touch any detailed bird record to launch the Bird Edit view. Any edits saved will be immediately reflected once the Query View is re-launched. The Queries are a powerful, comprehensive feature of Birds of Jordan.
